Blue Door Handyman
The to-do list stops at the blue door.
Flat-rate handyman for the small stuff every other outfit keeps postponing. You get a real price before you book, a real arrival window, and a finished job with the mess gone.
Texts are answered in seconds, any hour — a real person confirms every booking.
What I do
Eight jobs. Done properly.
Specializing in small jobs is the whole point — it's why I can get to yours this week, not "when we're in the area."
TV mounting
Level, on the studs, cords hidden. Bring the TV; I bring everything else.
Furniture assembly
Your flat-pack nightmare, sorted — packaging walked out the door.
Faucet & disposal swaps
Like-for-like swap, no drips, old unit hauled away.
Drywall patches
Patched, sanded, textured — ready for paint, invisible after it.
Door hardware
Knobs, deadbolts, handlesets. Smooth, aligned, actually locking.
Light fixture swaps
Like-for-like on existing wiring — down comes the boob light.
Caulk & weatherstrip
Clean lines around tubs and kitchens; drafts sealed at the door.
Smart devices
Doorbells, thermostats, locks — installed and working in the app.
The Blue Door promise
Flat price, up front
The number you approve by text is the number on the invoice. No hourly meter, no surprise line items.
This week, not someday
Small jobs are the business, not the leftovers between remodels. Most jobs are scheduled within days.
Your home, respected
Shoes off, drop cloths down, and every scrap of packaging and debris leaves with me.
How it works
Photo → price → done.
No site-visit fees, no "we'll get back to you."
Text a photo
Snap the broken thing. Text it with your zip code. You'll get a reply in seconds, any hour of the day.
Approve the flat price
A real price and a real arrival window, in writing. Say yes and you're on the calendar.
Job done, mess gone
Work's finished, area's cleaner than I found it, and you know exactly what you're paying — because you already approved it.
Straight answers
Fair questions.
Why "small jobs only"?
California law lets a handyman take jobs up to $1,000 that don't need permits — and that's exactly the work I've built the business around. Bigger jobs deserve a licensed contractor; I'll tell you honestly when that's the case.
What does a job cost?
Every job gets a written flat price before you book — based on the photo you text over. If the scope changes when I arrive, we agree on the new number before any work continues.
Who answers my text?
An assistant replies instantly — day or night — to grab the details and give you a price fast. I personally confirm every booking and I'm the one at your door.
What areas do you cover?
San Diego. Text your zip code with the job photo and you'll know right away if you're in range.
What's been on your list for a month?
Text a photo. Get a price. Cross it off.
